Dear Friend,

The countdown to our 7th Annual Church Sports event is on. On Memorial Day (May 26, 2025), over 20+ churches will attend the Chicago Inter-Church Sports Tournament. Are you ready?

As a leader, you will agree that it is necessary to engage in sports frequently. Apart from helping you stay fit and healthy, it allows you to connect with others and have some much-needed fun. What do you need to get ready for this event?

Your CICSC 2025 Checklist

Chicagoland’s Inter-Church Sports Tournament offers participants an array of activities. Some of them include basketball, soccer, chess, ping-pong, kickboxing, mini golf, and video games. If you are in or around Chicago on May 26, you should join us at this event.

I understand that preparing for such events can be quite tasking, which is why I am sending you this checklist. Here’s what you need to get in place to prepare for CICSC 2025:

  • Register for the event: As a church leader, you should register your church for this event by clicking this link.

  • Organize your sports team: As mentioned earlier, there are several events in which you can participate. Organize your teams for each of these events.

  • Practice some more: By now, I expect you already have your teams for each event. It’s time to intensify your training to ensure you compete at the highest level.

  • Plan transportation and logistics: How many people are coming from your church? This is the best time to figure this out and plan your transportation and other logistics.

  • Prepare team uniforms: From customized shirts to team jerseys, ensure that all your uniforms are ready for CICSC.

  • Get your church networking materials ready: CICSC presents an opportunity to network, so prepare your church’s networking materials.
